Olivia Rodrigo Is Sliding Down the Chimney With Her First-Ever Christmas Song!

Deck the halls and grab the hot cocoa, because Olivia Rodrigo is unwrapping her very first holiday song! “take me home (4 christmas)” lands this Thursday, Nov. 5, at 5 PM Pacific. That’s right after dinner, so Santa’s elves can stream it on their break.

Olivia shared the news on Instagram with cover art of herself in a red Santa hat and matching red lipstick, and said she’s “so excited.” Same here, Olivia!

She wrote the song with her go-to collaborators Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, and Dan produced it. The music video sounds like a holiday party you don’t want to miss: Olivia stars alongside Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon and Saturday Night Live breakout Ben Marshall.

Old-school fans, this one’s for you. The song is also coming out on a 7-inch vinyl and a cassette. That’s right, a cassette! You can pre-order both at Target now, or find them in stores Friday. It’s the perfect stocking stuffer for anyone who still owns a boombox.

It caps off a huge year for Olivia, with a new album, a No. 1 hit in “Drop Dead,” and her Unraveled tour. And she’s one of the artists on Rick Dees’ Weekly Top 40 right now!

Video drops Thursday at 5 PM PT, check back!
