Thirty sold-out nights later, Harry Styles has said goodnight to Madison Square Garden, and he did it dressed as a rat! 🐀
For Halloween, the last night of his record-setting “Together, Together” residency, Harry walked out as New York’s famous Pizza Rat in a fuzzy brown suit, pink feet, a long tail and shades, carrying a giant foam slice of pizza. “I thought I’d use this momentous point in my career to dress like a rodent,” he joked. “Feels fitting, really.” His band joined in as New York icons, from the Statue of Liberty to Andy Warhol.
The night before, he was Elvis. But the finale was all New York. Harry danced and sprinted through about two hours of hits like “Watermelon Sugar,” new songs like “Aperture,” and a surprise cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” (Want to know how he stays in such great shape? Then came the big moment. Knicks captain Jalen Brunson walked out with a banner celebrating Harry’s 30 nights, which beat his own 15-night record from 2022. Looking out at 20,000 fans, Harry put his hands over his heart and cried. “If you’ve been listening for one year, five years, 10 years, 16 years,” he said, “you’ve changed my life.” 💖
More than half a million fans from 79 countries came to the Garden this fall. Next stop for Harry: Australia!
