What great times! I LOVE the mid-late '90s... 1996 was a great year, before the pop/boyband explosion but after the boring adult contemporary early '90s. Look how rockish/alternative the pop chart is compared to the way it is now!

The early 2000s was too urban/hip hop.... now the chart is too electro/dance... why can't things be the way they were in 1996? Check out the variety on this chart! Thank you Dees archives! :)

Which chart is this? This can't be the Radio & Records Pop airplay chart. "Hit Me Off" didn't even reach the Top 40... how is it the highest debut at #31? And "The Crossroads" barely reached the Top 20 on R&R...how is it #7?

I actually love both those songs, but still.... something tells me Dees used some combined Pop/Rhythmic chart during '95/'96....that also explains why songs like "This Is How We Do It" peaked so high....
