ummm, ok dude. i was talking about the songs that are close to #1 (Top 5 Status) or can make #1. i did not mention anything about songs in the teens, twenties or thirties cause everybody who listens to Rick and follws the countdown knows that songs can move up and down due to popular demand. like i needed you to tell me a song fell or moved up a bit in the thirties. big deal and i was only answering to the #1 song or the top 5 songs so yea, use common sense next time.

Back in 2008, I was listening to Rick and he did say something like "A song can go back to the number 1 spot, but it's very rare.", or something. It rarely happens, apparently. I don't know if a song has ever done that on this countdown, but yeah. I do know that other songs can fall and then go back up. I've never seen that in the top 5. I've seen it in the top 30, though. For example, Miley Cyrus - The Climb was still hanging around the 16th, 17th spot (dropping spots), and then, suddenly, it jumps like 10 spots right into the top 10, because people were starting to request it a lot or something... her movie was getting lots of hits. I can't remember. Also, the Ting Tings - That's Not My Name were already in the top 30, back in April. They started to fall out of it down to the 36th, 37th, 38th spots, if I recall, but then it went back up to number 34, 33, etc. It's all about how many requests are made... I'm pretty sure that if I Gotta Feeling got requested many, many, many times, while You Belong With Me's at number 1, it would go back to the top... it makes sense. But as Rick said in the past, it's rare, and thus probably won't happen.

On Billboard's charts, songs can go back to the number 1 spot at any time. Rick's chart is more steady.
