what makes u think rick dees is a bias countdown show? just wondered.

alright, i do hear the top 10 since they are mostly played right now on hit radio! 11, 13, 15-25, 27, 29, 32, 33 & 37 i also hear too. 12, 14, 26, 28, 30 & 40 is played on another station that i listen to since one station is pop and the other is like top 40 with a trend towards hip-hop or rnb. 31, 34, 35, 36, 38 & 39 are songs that are played on selected stations that i am familiar with, but aren't played on my station. that's about it.

rick dees is a fun countdown to listen to, but I don't think it strictly follows any criteria. It is similar to the mediabase 24/7 chart which is an unbiased chart that ranks songs according to the number of spins they get each week. The current mediabase chart looks something like this:

oh, okay. you have a point there. i never thought about counting how many weeks a song is on the chart since there is too many to track. i miss the old version where there were arrows that tell you what song moves up, what song moves down and what debuted. at least someone has that covered. but yea, there are a few songs on this chart that need to fall out and new songs need to be added in since the old ones pretty much lost airplay.

of course the above chart has a recurrent rule. That mean that songs that have been on the countdown for more than 20 weeks and have fallen below number 20 they fall out of the countdown to allow new growing songs to chart.

Help! Th station in Madisoi , WI that carriED Dees' hit radio countdown where I once listened to it no longer does. For some reason, I don't find listening to the countdown as fun on the webplayer on the siye here. And as seems to be the csase w/ so many syndicated radio shows, there's some screwy rulre about their not being able to list the stations that carry their show on their website in this case, too (or at least I've been unable to find it here). If anyone here can post a list of terrestrial stations with webfeeds that carry Dees' hit radio countdown and the times they run it, ik'd be most appreciative. Thanks in advance!
