i heard this song twice and have no idea of it's name.

it begins with the drum beat of 'Drop it like it's hot' and somewhere in between, the lyrics say something close to 'sexy baby,' 'superstar,' 'beautiful thing,' and 'looking at you.'

can anyone please tell me what is the name of this song? thanks in advance

the list provided here is based on airplay. the Top 40 list on rick.com page is based on airplay. server cannot be found when clicking on the link for americasmusiccharts because it's only for real people who get paid to work at Rick.com! that's nice you found Rick online and he's been online and you can find the archives when rolling your mouse pointer over weekly top 40 and clicking on 2000 Editions. you're welcome Cherry Pie.

I've been out of the office

I've been out of the office ill, and then came back and filled in for the boss and was working two jobs....so am just now getting back to this site to look at your response, and must say I was disappointed. I had assumed this was an outlet for professionals to talk and gain insight, but it seems to be more of a chatline with flippant responses and hostility to newcomers. Apparently, real people are only considered by you to be people that work at Rick.com and not us lowly lifeforms who have been in radio longer than you have been out of diapers I'm guessing by your tone. (Let me guess, male 20 something, or 30's with a Justin Bieber haircut)

If you care to be truly helpful....the reason I asked about archives in particular is because the station I work for changed their format after 30 years to something very close to the Hit Radio chart this site provides, and I was hoping to be able to look up older songs in the format so I can find out what their highest position was. As I have do eyes and reasonable thinking, I was obviously able to find the archives here through April 2009, (prior to your instructions), but nothing preceding that. And...there is no 2000 Edition, just 90's and 2010.

Also, I tried to click your link for americasmusiccharts and the server could not be found, but I did find you online. I couldn't find a place however for archives. Is this available somewhere?
