Dees Junkie — Thu, 07/15/2010 - 08:13alright so OMG is #1 just as predicted from the chart on June 19th since it was #2 and now is #1. Alejandro is right after it at #2. will it be at #1 next weekend? will Lady Gaga have the 7th song at #1?
besides that, Your Love Is My Drug and Break Your Heart already had their #1 spot and are still in the top 10. California Gurls and Airplanes are the next two songs to go either a bit higher or maybe reach #1. we will have to wait until next weekend or so to find out.

Its good to see airplanes in top 10, I hope it goes #1 in the next couple of weeks, B.o.B. is the best rapper out there now.

Airplanes went up 4 spots from #10 on the June 19th chart to #6 this weekend. The Only Exception by Paramore probably didn't get enough votes yet to make Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 Chart. the song is okay. somewhat sad and slow, but whatever. it can make the chart, but people have to vote for it more or something.

Dees Junkie — Sun, 07/11/2010 - 06:44Great to see that Michael Buble made the Top 20, even though it will probably only be for one week.
California Gurls has more spins the past couple weeks than any song I can remember in the past couple years, even more than Poker Face or other huge hits at their peak and it has been consistent.
If next week is the catch up week, I can't imagine how that would not be Number One.
Alejandro is on the decline in Airplay and chart position, so I think it should be her first song to miss out on Number One.
OMG on top this week and California Gurls finally getting to Number One next week would seem to make sense.
Even though it's not my favorite song of the year so far, it is definitely in the running for Number One Song of 2010, just based on all that massive airplay alone.
