Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively shocked friends and fans when they announced just this weekend that they got married!
Reynolds tied the knot with the Gossip Girl star, 25, in an extremely private ceremony Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, near Charleston, multiple media outlets are reporting.
PEOPLE reports that the reception took place in a white tent at the plantation and Lively’s good friend, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, performed three songs. Bette Midler also reportedly sang, and there was also a deejay on hand.
E! News reports that the guests included only close friends, but that a few Hollywood types, including Lively’s manager, were also invited.
This is the second marriage for Reynolds. He was previously married to actress Scarlett Johansson from 2008-2011, but their union ended in divorce. Reynold was also engaged to You Oughta Know singer Alanis Morissette from 2004-2007, but they never married.
