DESCRIPTION
Who's Herb Ashton? Who cares! After you lose yourself in this scrumptuous Stack Pie, you may even forget your own name.

Yields: N/A
Prep Time: N/A
Cook Time: N/A

INGREDIENTS

10 Egg yolks
3 Cups Sugar
2 Sticks of butter
4 heaping tbsp. of flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Cups fresh cream (or 1 pint of heavy whipping cream)

BROWN SUGAR ICING FOR STACK PIE
3 Cups Brown Sugar
2/3 Cups Whole Milk
2 Sticks butter
3 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Dash of salt
2 Tsp. Vanilla 1

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in the order given. Pour into four pie shells. Bake in moderate oven (350)
until done, about 30 minutes.

Cook sugar, milk, and butter for 2 minutes after it begins to boil. Take off heat, add powdered
sugar and vanilla. Beat by hand until thick enough to spread. *Sometimes this takes 5 minutes,
and it could take up to 20 minutes.

TO STACK:
Very Important! Cool completely.
Step 1: Pick one pie to be the bottom layer. Leave this pie in it's pie plate.

Step 2: Spread brown sugar icing over layer (or) *use meringue.

Step 3: Very gently, shake another pie out of it's pie plate, place pie on top of 1st layer.

Repeat steps until all pies are stacked.

*Meringue, be sure to place on each pie, and brown in the oven before stacking.

Cool again, then follow the steps above.
