Knock 'em dead with this "killer" frosting!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup hot water
4 squares of unsweetened chocolate
3 cups confectioner's sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup soft butter
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
[IMPORTANT: Be sure to use real butter.]
DIRECTIONS
Melt chocolate over hot water, or in a microwave. In a medium bowl, combine chocolate, sugar, and 1/2 cup hot water. With electric mixer on medium speed, beat until smooth and well combined. Add egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Continue beating until the frosting is thick. Set the bowl in ice water, or in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Frost that cake! Don't forget to frost the middle!

strawberrykisses67 — Mon, 12/13/2010 - 18:41I tried this frosting and it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is this delcate taste yet it is strong enough for me to be in love with it. Spread it o my boyfriend's homemade chocolate cake and he loved it.
