Med Cocktail Appears To Be Working For Amanda Bynes
The miracle of meds appears to have begun stabilizing Amanda Bynes’ outrageous behavior.
TMZ reports that Amanda Bynes is doing remarkably better, including no longer hearing voices and it’s all because of a medical cocktail specifically prescribed by her doctors at the psychiatric hospital where she’s being held. The combination of meds is by design intended to control what appears to be schizophrenia.
Sources say Amanda has responded quickly and dramatically to the cocktail, even in the last 3 days having stopped talking to herself and stopped insulting people, and no longer showing signs of violence.
While doctors are not yet declaring victory, as the meds take usually 7 to 10 days to fully kick in, they are optimistic.
Amanda is scheduled to have a court hearing today, where she’s trying to get released from the psych hospital. Her doing better can actually help her case, however the judge will not let her out for several reasons. First, it’s unclear if the meds will work long-term. Also, it’s highly uncertain she’ll voluntarily take the drugs.
While reports are emerging that Amanda’s parents may back off the conservatorship if she does better in the psych ward, other sources say that is “absolutely untrue.” Amanda’s parents feel it’s essential for her to get long term care and supervision.
What we really want to know: has Amanda yet given up that broke-down blonde weave/wig? Please say yes.
