Having performed in concert with his brothers in Lexington, KY just the night before, Nick Jones took a step away from the concert stage to appear in Washington Monday.

Nick was one of the speakers at the National Press Club where he asked journalists to raise awareness about type 1 diabetes. He talked about his own struggles with the condition for the past four years, as well as his charity organizations that focus on the type 1 diabetes.

You've gotta admire Nick and his brothers for taking the opportunity to use their success toward the betterment of others. Extremely well done, Nick!
