Two Men Charged In Gaga And Lambert Gig Scam
Here’s something interesting: two men have been charged with fraud for allegedly falsely advertising a concert featuring performances from Lady GaGa and Adam Lambert.
Fans of the singers who had paid out between $100 and $200 for a private event in West Virginia last month were left holding the bag after discovering it was a scam and the singers had not been booked for the event.
Police officials say ticket sales were more than $17,800!! Alleged con-men Sherman Luke Loy and Dean R. DeSana, turned themselves into cops in Martinsburg in relation to the scam.
They were charged with one count of obtaining money by false pretense and released on bail, according to the Associated Press.
Maybe the generous GaGa and Lambert can get together and put on a show for the victims out of luck? Just a thought. :)
