Shawn Parr Signs Development Deal
BURBANK, California (June 25, 2008) -- Dees Entertainment, a full service terrestrial and digital entertainment provider, has entered into a content development relationship with Shawn Parr, 20-year veteran of Country Music radio and morning drive host of KKGO’s Go Country 105 in Los Angeles.
Kicking off the partnering will be its first project in development, “Shawn Parr’s Number #1 Show” - a 3-hour weekend show of number 1 hits, featuring the largest variety of number 1 hits, interviews with those number 1 artists, the biggest stories on the biggest songs, and how they made it to number 1.

About Shawn Parr
Born in Southern California, Shawn Parr has spent most of his career in the Los Angeles country music scene, and now wakes up listeners across the Southland with his morning radio show "You're Up To Parr," Monday through Friday, 5 to 10am on Go Country 105.1 FM. covering all of Southern California. With a passion and a long-term involvement with country music, Shawn is also the recognized voice of many award shows such as The Golden Globes, The Academy of Country Music Awards, and for the 16th year in a row the American Music Awards. In addition to his numerous public appearances, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and hosts his own annual golf tournament benefiting the John Tracy Clinic. An avid golfer, Shawn has been a part of the Bob Hope Classic for a number of years.
