Mike Sorrentino, also known as "The Situation" on the MTV hit reality series, Jersey Shore, will be exchanging his Ed Hardy shoes for a pair of dancing shoes as he hits the dance floor in the fall!

The transition of being known for his great set of abs and glowing orange spray tan into an exciting, yet graceful dancer will be exciting to watch!

The 'Dancing with the Stars' reigning champion, Derek Hough, speaks about the casting decision, saying that he originally had no idea "The Situation" would be added to the show. However, Hough thinks it's a great idea to have the Jersey Shore star on board!

"It’s people like that who come on the show who people will tune in and watch because either it will be a travesty or it will be interesting to see somebody turn something completely around."
Hough continues saying "it's classic entertainment, it's fun."

Along with The Situation, Audrina Patridge of MTV's reality show 'The Hills', singer Brandy, and former NFL player Kurt Warner.
