Evander Holyfield Facing Foreclosure Again
Former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield is facing foreclosure again for the second time in a year. The 20 million dollar mansion boasts 54,000 sq. feet and 109 rooms.
A lien holder is demanding the former heavyweight boxing champion make full repayment of an original $10 million loan.
The lien holder plans to auction the property on the Fayette County Courthouse steps July 7 if Holyfield doesn’t pay up in full, the notice said.
Holyfield has grossed more than $248 million in the ring, but two divorces, several failed business ventures and child-support payments believed to total $500,000 a year have hurt his finances, the Atlanta -Journal Constitution reports.
When Holyfield was asked about his finances last June, he told the Journal-Constitution: “I’m not broke. I’m just not liquid.”
He has 109 rooms in his house?
He needs to start renting them out and quick!
