Brad And Angelina Help Kids In Namibia
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are using some of the 4-million-dollars they made selling baby pictures of Shiloh, to give back to the African nation of Namibia (Shiloh’s birthplace.)
About 10-thousand-dollars of that money was used to purchase bicycles for kids in two schools in Namibia. The kids had to make a treacherous walk to and from their schools before the bikes (some walking 2-3 hour each way.)
Now the children don’t have to walk in the dark, or be too tired to learn. Grades are going up and the students seem to enjoy their classes much more. One 16-year-old student Emiliana said, “Already I have improved my average, and my aim is to be getting 100%. I know with the bicycle I can do it.”
