There might be hope yet for divorcing couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. The couple appear to have put their differences aside, at least for a while, as they enjoyed lunch together at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The duo were dressed casually and incognito with some large black shades, keeping their heads turned from waiting photographers.

In a move that shocked Hollywood, Ashlee filed for divorce from her 31-year-old husband last Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Supposedly, Pete was totally blindsided by the filing and has been “doing all he can” to save their marriage.
