Alec Baldwin Rushed To Hospital, Then Released
Alec Baldwin was rushed to a New York hospital early this morning after his daughter Ireland called 911, claiming he had overdosed on sleeping pills following an argument with her.
From the New York Post:
While the 12:10 a.m. call came in as a “possible alcohol or drug overdose,” sources told The Post that Baldwin never swallowed sleeping pills and had only threatened to do so.
The “30 Rock” actor, who lives on Central Park West, was released from Lenox Hill Hospital shortly after 1 a.m., according to sources.
“This was a misunderstanding on one person’s part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital; he’s completely fine and will be at work today,” said Baldwin's spokesman Matthew Hiltzik.
Fox News this morning is reporting a somewhat similar story, with their sources sharing that following an argument with his daughter Ireland, Baldwin had taken an Ambien, shortly after which he soon experienced a bad reaction.
Regardless, Alec this morning is back at work on the set of "30 Rock", and all appears to be fine....good news!
