Balloon Boy Admits "It Was All For The Show"
You would have had to have been under a rock to not hear about the balloon boy yesterday.
First, we got the news that a six year-old boy was trapped inside a home-made hot air-type balloon alone flying thousands of feet up in the air. When the balloon was finally taken down by police, they found out that the boy was not in the balloon, then after hours of searching for the boy he was found in his home’s attic. The report was that he hid after letting the balloon go because he was afraid he would get in trouble.
Now, after a live interview… the six year-old boy ACCIDENTALLY blabbed that his parents told him they did this “for the show”. In case you did not know..this family has been part of the ABC show 'Wife-Swap' twice already.
Could all of this have been done for the “show,” suggesting the stunt was STAGED? Kids do say the darndest things...
Surely this story isn't over yet.
**UPDATE***
The Heene family this morning released new video of the moments as the helium filled balloon lifted off. The father can be seen becoming extremely agitated, and it's been revealed that was because his wife did not have hold of the teethering line.
