DESCRIPTION
When the staff at Maroochydore (mah-ROOCH-ih-door) High School in Queensland, Australia, implemented a policy making parents responsible for their children’s absences and missing homework, the school was sued by parents demanding that their children’s failing grades be changed to passing grades, even though each student had 15-30 absences during the school year and didn’t complete enough homework to pass!
In response to the lawsuit, the faculty & staff voted unanimously to record this outgoing message on their phone system...check it out!
